• Here it is, May 26th, the 100th birthday of John Wayne. If you have been to the home page recently you will see a photo of the Duke's birthday cake that we used to celebrate the event yesterday at work.

• As most of you know there John Wayne movies being shown all this weekend on several channels such as, TCM (Turner Classic Movies), Encore Westerns with The John Wayne Centennial, 100 Years - 100 Hours, and even AMC (Almost a Movie Channel). Check out TV-Now.com for a complete listing.
  

• In Winterset, Iowa at the John Wayne Birthplace there are many events going on this weekend for the centennial. You can visit Horse Trade Show.com where there are several video links of the events from Winterset.
  

• As a reminder, the John Wayne Centennial DVD Contest is still going on. If you haven't entered yet you're burnin' daylight. The contest ends Saturday, June 2 at Midnight Pacific Time.
