I just wanted to update you on the happenings at Newt's John Wayne Site. There's not much happening on the Duke front since the realease of The Big Trail 2-disc set in May. CLICK HERE for a list of films starring John Wayne on TV showing in the near future.

On June 10, 2008 Warner Home Video released the Dukes of Hazzard: Two-Movie DVD Collection. Now, I realize this has no bearing on John Wayne but I am going to have a giveaway/contest for three of these sets. Check out the Review Page for this release then come on over to the Entry Page and get your name in the drawing for one of these sets.

Check out the John Wayne films on Turner Classic Movies (TCM) in the month of July. I have added a non-John Wayne film on this list but it is one that he produced that is not available on DVD. This film is Bullfighter and the Lady (1951), it is starring Robert Stack and directed by Budd Boetticher, check it out.
