The True Grit Father's Day Cook-Out Giveaway concluded on July 2, 2011. The winner of this giveaway is Linda Robinson of Nashville, TN. The prize package consists of a Blu-Ray/DVD Combo disc of True Grit (2010), a portable grill with carrying case/cooler, Chef's Hat, apron, grill mitten, and barbeque utensils. July 2, 2011 was the final day to enter his new giveaway. As an unadvertised bonus, I received an extra copy of the True Grit discs and the winner of this alternate prize is Chuck Itt of Fort Wayne, IN.

Combing the internet of articles about John Wayne or his co-stars has produced some good results. Ain't It Cool News posted two interviews with Angie Dickenson , the first on October 12, 2010 and the second one on April 24, 2011. Another article about Angie and Rio Bravo as a big step to her road to stardom from the Austin Chronicle on April 15, 2011.
A review of the book Stuntman!: My Car-Crashing, Plane-Jumping, Bone-Breaking, Death-Defying Hollywood Life by Hal Needham. This review is by David Maine from the Popmatters website on March 20, 2011.
A John Wayne photo book from John Wayne Enterprises is to be released this fall. Wayne Enterprises has struck a deal with PowerHouse Books to release this currently untitled book this fall.
