On August 12th and 13th there will be 12 John Wayne films showing on Turner Classic Movies (TCM). Times listed are Pacific Time, please check your cable or satellite listings for the time in your area.

We are in the middle of summer and grilling time with John Wayne. Get the Official John Wayne Way to Grill book. Then go to the Misc Goodies section of the John Wayne Store which has been updated to include John Wayne briquettes, meat spice rubs, and sauces. Also newly added are three John Wayne bobbleheads.

Check out the newly launced website, Newt's Classic Movie Store. The films offered are classic films, a good deal of them are known as Film Noir. The films offered are manufactured on demand (MOD) using DVD-R recordable media (burned).
The featured film in this newsletter is Happy Go Lovely (1951). This seldom seen little musical stars David Niven, Vera-Ellen, and Cesar Romero. Click Here to download a video clip of this movie to view the quality of the video.

In July there were two new John Wayne Blu-Ray releases by Warner Archive, Blood Alley and The Sea Chase, both of the films were released in 1955.
