I just wanted to update you on the happenings at Newt's John Wayne Site.

• There are a couple of new sections that I have added to the website recently. Did you know that John Wayne was on a regular radio drama? From February to July 1942 he was on a program called Three Sheets To The Wind, for more info on this just click the link of the show title. Also I have added a new FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) section with some added questions that I have received. If you have some questions about John Wayne, his films or his life, just send them along and I will try my best to answer them. Check the FAQ section first, your question may already be answered there.
  

• Existing copies of THE HIGH AND THE MIGHTY on VHS tape are still going for a high price on eBay. The latest one was $86.00. We need to get the word out that we want this film to be released to home video. You can send your thoughts to Batjac Productions, the address to write is:

• As some of you are aware Harry Carey Jr was a frequent co-star of John Wayne's usually in John Ford directed films. He sent me an e-mail the other day to let me know of his most recent film project. He is to produce and star in COMANCHE STALLION. This film is from the book of the same name written in 1958 and was originally going to be produced by John Ford in 1963. Please visit the website for this project and be sure to sign his guest book so he can know what you think of this project. We could sure use another western in John Ford tradition.
