I just wanted to update you on the happenings at Newt's John Wayne Site. CLICK HERE for a list of films starring John Wayne on TV showing this month.

• The news about THE HIGH AND THE MIGHTY DVD release has gotten within reach. In my last newsletter I told you that the DVD is in the works for the future. Well, the future is almost here.
  

  On September 8, 2004 in a press release from Paramount, it was announced that they and Batjac Productions had reached an agreement to put out on home video and cable TV some of the Duke's long lost films including THE HIGH AND THE MIGHTY (1954) and ISLAND IN THE SKY (1953). It probably won't be for Christmas this year but in the spring of 2005 it will start to become a reality. CLICK HERE to read the full reprint of the Paramount press release.
