Hello Pilgrims, the year is coming to a close and with the holidays approaching we have some interesting things happening. My recent blog posting is about the famed director Michael Curtiz, I hope you will check it out.

• CLICK HERE for a list of films starring John Wayne on TV showing in the near future. This site is set for my area listings, click the link next to "Local listings for:" (just to the right of the date) and enter your zip code and TV provider for listings in your area.
  

• There were several new John Wayne releases in 2012. Here is a review page of these releases.
  

• Your gift buying for that John Wayne fan just got a little easier, check out the John Wayne Store. In the DVDs section, there are John Wayne DVDS, some by directors that the Duke worked with most often, and Blu-Ray discs of John Wayne films plus a section of Blu-Ray discs not starring the Duke. Also there is a special features section that have documentary DVDs about John Wayne and his career.
  

  In the music section, you can get the CD of John Wayne's album America, Why I Love Her. Also there are CDs of film themes and scores and other western music.
  

  In the books section, one page of John Wayne books and a page of books about other actors and actresses, plus books of interest about Hollywood. New Duke book, John Wayne: The Legend and the Man: An Exclusive Look Inside Duke's Archives, released December 4, 2012. First-ever authorized book by John Wayne Enterprises. Book to Feature Never-Before-Seen John Wayne Archived Photo Collection. This 272-page book celebrates Duke�s life and legacy through set photography and stills from his cinematic masterpieces.
  

  There are other sections of interest such as posters and pictures of John Wayne and some of his female co-stars. There is section of John Wayne themed collectibles. The last section is Misc Goodies, items that didn't fit into the other categories. In this section are calendars, a John Wayne Monopoly game, a 1000 piece puzzle of the John Wayne 37 cent postage stamp, playing card set and even John Wayne magnets.
